Question: Is there a quantity discount? Yes. Please contact us at maddogmetalworks at gmail dot com for more information! Question: How is sizing determined? Sizing varies! Larger tags look awesome on all but the smallest dogs. Sizing options are only available for pet tags. These options consist simply of "bigger" or "smaller." Sizing is determined by the amount of text/symbols requested and the number of layers. The base layer of three layer trio tags is almost always 1.25" in diameter, for example, which is our largest size. The purpose of the larger/smaller option is so that when a decision needs to be made about whether a tag should be larger or smaller, we can better choose which direction the customer would prefer we go in. Human jewelry is automatically created in as small a form as possible depending on the amount and types of text and symbols. Question: Why are there two split rings included with my tag? If you plan to attach your tags to a traditional dog collar D-ring, using two split rings will result in a front-facing final position for the tag. We prefer to attach the smaller split ring to the tag and the larger split ring to the D-ring. Multi-layer tags are shipped with two split rings attached and single layer tags are shipped with two split rings separately placed in the envelope with the tag. Question: Are tags with multiple layers soldered together or loose? Tags and pendants with multiple layers are not soldered together. They are individual pieces attached to the same split ring. Question: How do I add symbols to my tag? Use the chart below. Indicate (Row Number]R[Order Number) and add that code to your "front" and "back" blanks. For example, if I wanted the dog bone stamp, when submitting my form I would indicate (4R2) in the "text on the front" text entry area.  Question: May I order a mixed metal dog tag? We do not currently offer mixed metal dog tags. We have been thoroughly field testing our aluminum tags for a year and we are not sure whether mixed metal tags will be equally sturdy. Currently we are field testing solid brass dog tags! We do offer jewelry for humans in mixed metal designs. We feel comfortable with this because human jewelry does not need to be quite so sturdy. Question: How long will it take for my tag to be made? Current estimated production time is one week for orders with less than five items. Question: What if what I want doesn't fit in the order blanks? When you check out, there is a "notes to the tagmaker" box intended for additional information. Please include all other requests in that box and, if you ordered multiple items, be sure to clearly indicate which tag or pendant that you are referring to. Question: What products are in the works?
